Wolverton to Fenny Stratford and Leighton Buzzard

Friday at Midday we got a visit of Mari-Elene friend Ibrahim who was one a holiday to London.
Weather was of the good one so the trip to Fenny Stratford became a fab day.

It was the first time Ibrahim had been on a narrow boat and he loved it!

The sun came out and so did our guest, roof on a narrow boat is a good viewing point.

We had a Lunch stop at The Black Horse pub, food was really fab. When we set of  it was time for Mari-Elene and Ibrahim to enjoy some glasses of some bobbles. Like I said a roof is a good place to enjoy the day. Wonder why not more people do so?

Cheers everyone.

We had a overnight stop at Fenny Stratford, and had few drinks at the local boozer. Because train from this station was rather few between and journey back to London for Ibrahim had become a long one we asked him to stay overnight and cruise with us to Leighton Buzzard on Saturday.

Saturday morning the weather was really gloomy with rain shower's and some thunder and lightening, so most of the cruise was with weather proof but had few moments with some sunny spells.

Captain could breath again right after photo was taken.

Saturday's and Mari-Elene's end point for her 10 days cruise.

In the evening we had really lovely meal at a local Indian cosine as a thank you from Ibrahim.

Late night we walked him to the station and sad our goodbyes and we wish him a safe travel back to Norway.

Friday and Saturday we cruised 16 miles and 6 locks and one swing bridge some was open up for us.

Happy days!
