CHESTERFIELD CANAL

CHESTERFIELD CANAL IS ONE OF THE WATERWAYS I ALWAYS HAVE  HAD ON MY  TO DO  LIST, AND LAST SUMMER IT HAPPN. 

THE ENTRANCE FOR THE LOCK ON THE RIVER TRENT WAS LITTLE NERVY BUT I MANAGE TO GET IN TO THE LOCK WITHOUT HITTING THE WALL, LOCK KEEPER SEEMS LIKE IMPRESSED OF MY DRIVING BUT I GUESS 15 YEARS AT THE HELM HELPS LITTLE. 

HAD TWO NIGHTS AT WEST STOCKWITH VISITOURS MOORING BEFORE STARTED MY TRAVEL ON THIS LOVELY CANAL.

I WAS ABLE BOOKING MY PASSAGE OUT ON TO THE TIDAL TRENT THE SAME  MORNING. 

NORMALY YOU NEED BOOK AT LEAST 24 HOURS PRIOR PASSAGE.

Hi and welcome to another vlog. 

This year the travel restrictions come also right after I was able setting off from Thorne. 

Keadby sliding railway bridge have been a problem for many years on and off. 

When I was traveling the weather was rely warm, and this sliding bridge could only be operated below 15 degree. 

Would I be able getting out on the Tidal Trent?
