Warning lock work is dangerous work!

Yesterday we started 10 am and had 6 locks a head of us, weather wise was of the better one, bright sunshine for a change and not much wind so was feeling really lovely. We was pairing the lock with a lovely couple, Dot and Paul! It was two other boats going down before us so had good time to have a good towpath chat.

A lovely morning.

Dot and me had a relaxing time when our crew was busy working locks.

Some random photos on the go

At Gayton junc, to the right, you can go to Northampton

We had a lovely cruise and had our over night here at

After a walk we stopped here for our dinner, lovely food and great locals was do our visit a lovely time.

Today we had only a short Cruise to Stoke Bruerne, one of my favourite places one the waterways, its a really calm feeling at this small canal side village.

Exit Blisworth tunnel, its little over 3000 yards long and this tunnel are one of three longest in the UK.

On Sunday morning when we did the Foxton flight of locks Mari-Elene was loosing her grip on the windlass, but this time it only hit her arm and it could gone so much worse. But yes it did give here loads of pain after. So be aware of the dangerous of doing locks folks.

Since last blog we have done 8 locks and one tunnel and 15 miles

Happy days!
