Moorings problem.

Yesterday after we stopped for early rest because of rain, we set of again and only had a plan to drive another hour. But Grand Union Leicester line is rely shallow in places, and we did try mooring up four different places before cracking on all the way to Crick were we had our overnight stop.

Today we had a late ish start, around 10.30 am, after we had a little walk to Crick village, and headed for Watford lock, was plain sailing down the locks. Mari-Elene have learn the boating game like a prof.

Crick tunnel 1400 meter long.

Awaiting for our turn down the Watford Flight

M-E on the left ready to open the lock gate.

All single locks done for this time.

Lunch at the New Inn at Long Buckby

Did one more lock and stopped were I usually stop when passing this place.

Since Saturday we have done 30 miles and 18 locks, 2 tunnels and 2 swing bridges.

Happy days.
