Mari Elene on a summer visit!

Monday 4. of June my youngest daughter come for a few days holiday.
Two days before I cruised from Sutton stop down to Coventry canal basin. It was a good place to be meeting her.

Our cruise would be to the Ashby canal a lovely canal and no locks to be done.
Down part of this cruise have to be the stretch in and out from Coventry, its so much rubbish in the canal and the side of it. But here we go on a few days lovely trip together.

On the day she arrived we had a walk about in Coventry centre and had a lovely meal in the night at a steak house. only a short walk from the Basin.

Was a chilly first day cruise but Mari-Elene is all happy.

Well we both are happy people

 The Co Captain for the Ashby here we go

 She was steering the boat and did it brilliant, the captain could have a relaxing days as well.

 The weather become nice and warm, fanzy a burger or two. We had such lovely time.

 My small BBQ was doing it job proper

Had a wonder about at Market Bosworth, nice looking house

And the garden was amazing

We had to turn around here at Shacerstone

and a little walkabout before we was travelling to Stoke Golding

 The Co captain had a lunch break from the steering

 Left overs she was feeding the ducks with

Had a overnight stop here.

 Whats better and find a pub and play some pool

On our way back we had to stop here,  Such lovely farm shop with fresh produce

Free range chicken in the beer garden ( Lime kiln pub) 

A little refreshment in the sun

 Last day on our trip

Thanks for this time ME you was rely good to handle the boat in all ways.
You can now easy take your friends on a canal holiday but like the captain.
